What Sri Lanka exports
Verified exporters
Our team checks Business Registration and Export Development Board (EDB) registration by hand before a supplier shows the “Verified exporter” badge.
Comparable quotes
Every quote shows unit price, currency, minimum order, lead time and Incoterm, side by side.
Direct conversation
Message the factory or estate itself, share specifications and photos, and ask for samples.
No commission
Pitu.lk does not take a cut or hold funds. You agree payment terms (T/T, L/C) directly with the exporter.

Good to know
You pay the exporter directly, on the terms you agree — usually T/T bank transfer (often a deposit then balance against shipping documents) or a Letter of Credit through your bank for larger orders. Pitu.lk never asks you to pay us for goods.
FOB Colombo: the exporter delivers the goods onto the ship at Colombo port; you pay freight and insurance from there. CIF: the exporter also pays freight and insurance to your port. Ask for the Incoterm you prefer when you request a quote.
Many exporters send samples, sometimes for a fee that is refunded on your first order. Ask in the conversation — the product page shows when samples are offered.
The exporter uploads their Business Registration certificate and EDB exporter registration. A member of our team checks the documents by hand. The badge shows only after that check.
Anything from a trial order to full containers. Each product shows its minimum order quantity and bulk price breaks; for larger volumes post a sourcing request.
