About Pitu.lk
A modern marketplace built in Sri Lanka, for Sri Lanka — buy, sell, auction, exchange, rent and offer anything.
Pitu.lk lets anyone post an ad for free — a car, a plot of land, a phone, a puppy, a job, a service — and lets anyone browse without signing up. Buyers contact sellers directly by phone or WhatsApp. No middleman, no commission.
What makes us different
- Photo and video ads, with uploads compressed on your phone to save data.
- Real auctions with fair, anti-sniping timers.
- Exchange and rent ads alongside normal sales.
- Virtual shops with your own branding and themes.
- The whole site in English, Sinhala and Tamil.
- Free to use. We plan to earn from clearly-labelled advertising once the community has grown.
