How rich the colour is. Vivid = deep, glowing colour; light = pale.

Eye clean = nothing you can see without a loupe.

Heated is normal for sapphire and ruby. “Natural – unheated” only counts with a lab report.

Compared with a plain 1–2 ct stone of medium colour, eye clean, well cut, heated where that is usual, from Sri Lanka, without a lab report.

Treatment is not known. A heated or treated stone is worth far less than a natural one, so a buyer will pay much less without a lab report.

Without a lab report (NGJA, GIA, GRS…) nobody can be sure of the stone, its treatment or its origin. A report usually costs far less than the difference it makes.

An estimate, not a valuation or a lab test. Asking prices are not sale prices, and top stones vary the most. US$ at Rs 300.
